TOP 5 REASONS WHY YOU NEED TO STAY AT THE HILTON ON HAWAII ISLAND
It seems like yesterday where I was swimming in the beautiful warm waters of Waiulua Bay hoping to spot a turtle or two…how time flies! And it’s got me thinking. Hawaii Island, or otherwise affectionately known as the Big Island, has a lot to offer when it comes to choosing the right accommodation. So the good thing is if you choose the Big Island for your next tropical getaway, you’re going to be spoilt for choice. Hurrah! However, if you’re looking for a lot of luxe and sophistication and want to stay at a resort that has everything you could ever need, Hilton Waikoloa Village will be perfect for you. Located on the west shore and unlike any property you will find on the island, keep reading to find out my top 5 reasons why you need to stay here.
THE LOCATION Hilton Waikoloa Village is a one of a kind oceanfront playground and is exclusively located in Waiulua Bay on the Kona Coast of Hawaii Island. If resort living is what you’re looking for, then the Hilton has it all.
THE FOOD With 14 restaurants and bars, there really is no reason to grab a bite anywhere else! Although if you want something on the less expensive side, we found a shopping complex down the road that also had some fantastic cafes. We also discovered an incredible grocery store that offered lots of fresh food. So good!
THE VIEW The view overlooking Waiulua Bay is spectacular. Set on the volcanic rocky Kona coastline, Hilton Waikoloa Village has a dazzling view overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean and is backed my arid volcanic hills. It really is a sight to behold.
THE POOLS I’m all about swimming pools when I go on holidays; it’s one of the most important factors in choosing where to stay, especially when you know the beaches can get some serious swell. The Hilton Waikoloa Village has a four acre ocean-fed lagoon with a white sand beach, three swimming pools featuring waterfalls, a 175 foot waterslide, and an adults only swimming pool – do I need to convince you anymore?
THE SUN The sunrise and sunset kind of sun is what I am thinking about. Now I know you’re supposed to sleep in on your holidays and you’ll most likely be out and about adventuring around the island. But do try to get up early and have a few cocktails from the comfort of your room so you can enjoy Hawaii’s incredible sunrises and sunsets because you won’t be disappointed.
