EXPLORE ICELAND: 18 PLACES YOU NEED TO PHOTOGRAPH IN ICELAND
Iceland is without a doubt the most spectacular country I’ve visited – in my entire life. It was high up on my bucket list for a long time so when Jason and I started brainstorming destination ideas for our holiday last year, I knew Iceland would win the most votes. We like to travel to different places, you know, off the beaten path. Needless to say, Iceland delivered. For those of you who are thinking of visiting Iceland, my biggest tip is to give your itinerary as much time as possible. We spent two days exploring Reykjavik, then hired a car and made our way along the ring road towards Vik, then up to Hof and over to Hofn. If you’re lucky enough to road trip around the entire Ring Road you’ll need at least two weeks because there is so much to see and do.
So to kick off my second blog post for my Explore Iceland series, I am going to fuel your wanderlust by sharing 18 places you need to photograph in Iceland. And these are just a tiny sample of what was on offer to photograph between Reykjavik and Hofn...get my drift? And in case you missed it, take a look at my guide to the world famous Blue Lagoon. It's located just 45 minutes by car from Reykjavik so is perfect to drop into at the start or the end of your road trip. Happy travels!
